The Paraclete Conservatory

Mission Statement

The Paraclete Conservatory offers programs in music training and academic enrichment. We support the educational process through activity, melody, and rhythm based courses. We teach our students in a community-building atmosphere and foster individual growth while encouraging them to contribute creatively to the world around them.

Who We Are

Founded in 1998 by Istvan Hernek, the Paraclete Conservatory is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to:

Development of talent in musicians at all levels of study
Providing educational enrichment activities that supplement a wide academic curriculum

Our success has come through the development of energetic programs that build community and team spirit in our students. It has been proven, time and time again, that music dramatically increases the mind’s capacity to learn. In our programs, we combine melody and motion to support our curriculum.

We are committed to helping our students reach their full potential, and we direct much of our energy toward supporting school teachers and private music instructors. Our programs are designed to supplement the educational curriculum. Through teamwork that we achieve the highest level of success.

Mozart Munchkins!

The Paraclete Conservatory is excited to introduce a new music program in September 2006. Mozart Munchkins is a program specifically designed to prepare elementary school children for the study of voice or any musical instrument! Find out more.

Music Education

We attract musicians and singers to an atmosphere of learning enrichment and foster the development of soloists, accompanists, and performers of all ages. Our programs offer students enjoyable, multilevel courses that help them excel.

Private Lessons

We have developed new teaching methods for piano, voice, and other instruments that achieve more rapid results. We have composed technical exercises to strengthen students’ skills, as well as a highly effective method of monitoring their progress.

Supervised Music Practice

Young musicians rehearse daily, outside the home, in an environment that supports the goals set by their music teacher. The students master music assignments more rapidly, while reducing the parents’ need to enforce practice at home.

Academic Enrichment

Our tutorial and academic enrichment programs are designed to supplement student learning in areas where they are having difficulties, or to bring about more success in areas where students already excel.
